Kasr Al-Nile marks a new collaboration between Dina El Sherbiny and producer Mohamad Mashish, following the TV drama hits Grand Hotel, Zay El Shams and Le'bet El Nesyan, marking El Sherbiny’s fourth time in a row headlining a TV drama in Ramadan season for the fourth consecutive year.
Along with Dina El Sherbiny, Kasr Al-Nile features a star-studded cast, including: Reham Abdel Ghafour, who collaborates with Dina for the second time after the TV hit Zay El Shams, Ahmed Magdy, the salient Salah Abdallah, Sabry Fawaz, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Mohamed Hatem, Nabil Eissa, Omar El Saeed, Nardine Farag, Mariam El Khosht, Mohamed El Bezawy, and Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, along with production designer Mahmoud Karem, and composer Amine Bouhafa who has previously teamed up with the company in several works.
Taking place during the 1960s, the social drama features a thrilling crime plot that unfolds in a framework of mystery. The crew built a special set that fits into the period during which the series events take place, nearly sixty years ago. Additionally, DOP Haitham Hosny used various digital techniques to give the same impression of the images taken back then.

iProductions (Mohammad Mashish) announced that the company will wrap up shooting for all interior scenes of Qasr El Nile and will start filming the exterior scenes of the series soon.
iProductions (Mohammad Mashish) announced that the company will wrap up shooting for all interior scenes of Qasr El Nile and will start filming the exterior scenes of the series soon. Recently, iProductions revealed first-look at behind- of the images that featured Dina Elsherbiny and director Khaled Marei. The shooting of Qasr El Nile was started at the beginning of this year after the setup of the interiors was extended for several months to ensure accurate simulation of the time period where the events take place. Currently, the shooting of the interior scenes is about to wrap up. The series is slated to premiere during Ramadan 2021 on MBC Masr.
Producer Mohamad Mashish expressed his enthusiasm to collaborate with Dina Elsherbiny once more, following the successful TV drama Grand Hotel, especially that the events are set against the backdrop of the 1960s that is best known for its dense historical events and unique style in fashion and decorations. He also added that the entire work process is currently underway to finish the shooting at the scheduled time..

Gunshot Screens at the Arab Film Festival-Amman

As part of its tour around the Arab world, Gunshot by director Karim El Shenawy and screenwriter Haitham Dabbour will screen on Wednesday, August 28, 9:00 PM at The Royal Film Commission of Jordan.
As part of its tour around the Arab world, Gunshot by director Karim El Shenawy and screenwriter Haitham Dabbour will screen on Wednesday, August 28, 9:00 PM at The Royal Film Commission of Jordan within the events of its Arab Film Festival-Amman (August 25- September 1). The screening will be attended by director Karim El Shenawy.
Most recently, Gunshot won the Best Actor Award,given to Ahmad Al Fishawy, and the Best Cinematography Award, given to DOP Abdelsalam Moussa,at the 67th Egyptian Catholic Center Cinema Festival.
Since its release on October 3rd in Egypt, Gunshot has received wide acclaim from critics and audiences alike. The film has been released in six Gulf States, including: Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Gunshot has been recently released in Tunisia.
Gunshot had a full-house screening during its world premiere at the 2nd El Gouna Film Festival and was selected as the closing film of the Malmö Arab Film Festival. The film also screened at the Cairo International Film Festival within its International Panorama - New Egyptian Cinema. Al Daif by director Hadi Elbagoury and writer Ibrahim Eissa continues its international tour by taking part in the 2nd edition of the Manarat Festival du Cinéma Méditerranéen in Tunisia (1 – 7 July), headed by the Tunisian producer Dora Bouchoucha. This marks the film's sixth international screening after a series of successful ones in Jordan, the Netherlands, Morocco, Estonia and Egypt. The film will screen on Wednesday, July 3rd at 10:30 pm in Korba in Nabeul Governorate.
Produced by iProductions, Al Daif generated more than EGP 8 million since its successful release in Egyptian theatres last January and received high critical acclaim by many critics. Al Daif screened at the Arab Film Festival Rotterdam and competed within in the Official Competition of the Festival International du Cinéma Méditerranéen de Tétouan. The film was also released in Jordanian theatres last April.
Al Daif’s world premiere was at the 22nd Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia, in which it won the Audience Award. Due to the huge audience demand, the film had a full-house screening. The poster features a scene from the serial drama where Dina El Sherbiny she is dressed up in the 1960s fashion style.
Kasr Al-Nile marks a new collaboration between Dina El Sherbiny and producer Mohamad Mashish, following the TV drama hits Grand Hotel, Zay El Shams and Le'bet El Nesyan, marking El Sherbiny’s fourth time in a row headlining a TV drama in Ramadan season for the fourth consecutive year.
Along with Dina El Sherbiny, Kasr Al-Nile features a star-studded cast, including: Reham Abdel Ghafour, who collaborates with Dina for the second time after the TV hit Zay El Shams, Ahmed Magdy, the salient Salah Abdallah, Sabry Fawaz, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Mohamed Hatem, Nabil Eissa, Omar El Saeed, Nardine Farag, Mariam El Khosht, Mohamed El Bezawy, and Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, along with production designer Mahmoud Karem, and composer Amine Bouhafa who has previously teamed up with the company in several works.
Taking place during the 1960s, the social drama features a thrilling crime plot that unfolds in a framework of mystery. The crew built a special set that fits into the period during which the series events take place, nearly sixty years ago. Additionally, DOP Haitham Hosny used various digital techniques to give the same impression of the images taken back then.

Following its successful release in Egyptian theaters grossing more than EGP 8 million, Al Daif by director Hadi Elbagoury and writer Ibrahim Eissa will be released in Jordanian theaters as of Thursday, April 11 at Grand Cinemas City Mall and Prime Cinemas Baraka Mall and Abdali Mall. The film will be released in more Arab countries soon.
Al Daif recently screened at the Arab Film Festival Rotterdam and competed in the Official Competition of the Festival International du Cinéma Méditerranéen de Tétouan. The film world premiered at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia, where it had a full-house screening and won the Audience Award. The film marked the sole Egyptian and African film in the official competition of the festival, and the first ever Egyptian feature film to get officially selected for the festival, which is one of the A-rated film festivals along with 14 other festivals around the world. The festival screens over 250 features, as well as 300 short and animated films annually throughout its different programs.
Produced by iProductions, Al Daif generated more than EGP 8 million since its successful release in Egyptian theatres last January. It also received high critical acclaim by many critics. MAD Solutions is handling the film's marketing.

iProdcutions released a special version of the film Al Daif (The Guest) for audiences with hearing and speech impairments accompanied with Arabic closed captions at Odeon Downtown and Mirage Mall cinemas. Another version of the film was also subtitled in English at Zamalek Cinema, Cine Cinema El Gouna, Nile City, Point 90, Golden Stars, Americana Plaza, VOX Mall of Egypt and VOX Alexandria.
At the premiere night of Al Daif, iProdcutions organized a special screening for the audience members with hearing and speech impairments. The screening was attended by Faten Salah, Director of El Amal for Deaf & Hearing Impaired School; a number of students; and Nadia Abdallah, Head of the Egyptian Foundation For the Rights of the Deaf and Sign Language Interpreters; alongside a number of the members of the foundation.

A discussion was held in the waiting room afterwards to exchange opinions on the themes dealt with in the film.

iProdcutions released a special version of the film Al Daif (The Guest) for audiences with hearing and speech impairments accompanied with Arabic closed captions at Odeon Downtown and Mirage Mall cinemas. Another version of the film was also subtitled in English at Zamalek Cinema, Cine Cinema El Gouna, Nile City, Point 90, Golden Stars, Americana Plaza, VOX Mall of Egypt and VOX Alexandria.
At the premiere night of Al Daif, iProdcutions organized a special screening for the audience members with hearing and speech impairments. The screening was attended by Faten Salah, Director of El Amal for Deaf & Hearing Impaired School; a number of students; and Nadia Abdallah, Head of the Egyptian Foundation For the Rights of the Deaf and Sign Language Interpreters; alongside a number of the members of the foundation.
Al Daif was released Egyptian theaters on Sunday, January 6, in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria and the governorates.

iProductions has received five awards at the 22nd edition of the National Festival for Egyptian Cinema through two of its films. Mawlana added four more awards to its list, including Best Script (Director/Writer Magdy Ahmed Ali); Best Dialogue (Writer Ibrahim Eissa); the Production Award that was received by Ahmed Fahmy, Managing Director of iProductions; and Best Actor for Amr Saad. This comes in addition to the two awards that Mawlana received last year. Moreover, for his role in Sheikh Jackson, Maged El Kedwany also received the Best Supporting Actor Award at the festival.
Landing its world premiere at the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), Mawlana received a number of awards, such as the Best Feature Film and Best Actor awards at the Luxor African Film Festival, the Circle Award for Best Film at the Washington DC Filmfest, the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature at the Twin Cities Film Festival in USA, and the Best Actor Award for Amr Saad at the Alexandria International Film Festival.
Written and directed by the award-winning director Magdy Ahmed Ali, Mawlana is based on Ibrahim Eissa's best-selling novel which was shortlisted for the Arabic Booker (International Prize for Arabic fiction-IPAF) and 11 editions of the book have been published since its release. Mawlana is produced by iProductions with Mohamed Al Adl (El Adl Group) as Executive Producer. The film stars Amr Saad, Dorra, Bayoumi Fouad, Ahmed Magdy, Reham Haggag, Sabry Fawwaz, Lotfy Labib, Eman El-Asy, and Ahmed Rateb Mawlana tells the story of the well-known preacher Hatem Al Shenawy who hosts a series of moral, ethical and religious debates through his popular TV show, which attracts worldwide audiences of millions of people. Director Hadi Elbagoury and writer Ibrahim Eissa's new feature film Al Deif (The Guest) is selected to land its world premiere as Egypt's submission within the official competition.
Director Hadi Elbagoury and writer Ibrahim Eissa's new feature film Al Deif (The Guest) is selected to land its world premiere as Egypt's submission within the official competition of the 22nd Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (16 November - 2 December) in Estonia. The film will be screened on Saturday, November 24, in the Scape Hall of the Coca-Cola Plaza cinema, one of the most technically advanced screening rooms.
The Guest marks the first Egyptian participation in the official selections of the festival, which is one of the A-rated festivals with 14 international festivals around the world, including Cannes, Berlinale, Venice and others. The festival annually presents more than 250 feature films and 300 short and animated films.
The film tells the story of a young man who visits a family during dinner, and then the events develop in a direction that no one expects. The Guest stars Khaled El Sawy, Ahmed Malek, Shereen Reda, and Jamila Awad, alongside the guest stars Maged El Kedwany and Mohamed Mamdouh.
Al Deif (The Guest) marks the second collaboration between writer Ibrahim Eissa and iProductions after Mawlana. It is also the company's second time to work with Director Hadi Elbagoury after Hepta: The Last Lecture that is the highest-grossing romantic film in the history of Egyptian cinema with revenues more than EGP 27 million. After a full-house screening at its world premiere at the 2nd El Gouna Film Festival, iProductions and Film Clinic have released Gunshot by director Karim El Shenawy.
Within its world premiere, Al Daif (The Guest) by director Hadi Elbagoury and writer Ibrahim Eissa won the Audience Award at the 22nd Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia,which concluded its events yesterday. The film is scheduled to be released soon in Egyptian theatres.
Due to the huge audience demand, the film had a full-house screening. Al Daif is the sole Egyptian and African film participating in the festival's Official Competition. It is also the first Egyptian feature film to participate in the official selections of the festival, which is one of the A-rated festivals along with 14 other international festivals around the world, including Cannes, Berlinale, Venice and others. During the current edition of DIFF, Screen International selected Malek among the five promising Arab stars in the Stars of Tomorrow programme (Arab Stars of Tomorrow).
Sheikh Jackson film, which features Malek, is currently showing in Egyptian theatres. The film has been selected as Egypt's official submission to the 2018 Academy Awards for Best Foreign-Language Film. Currently, Malek is shooting his scenes for Gunshot. He was recently chosen by the board of the Shnit Worldwide Shortfilmfestival as a jury member of the Realtime Competition.

This announcement was made during Fahmy's interview with Screen International magazine in its DIFF dailies. He also announced that the film will star Shereen Reda, Khaled Elsawy, Ahmed Malek and Jamila Awad.
